The Sailaway Logbook 2016 The objective of our logbook is to document our travels and experiences, allowing our family and friends to keep up to date with our progress. Our aim is to see "the real countries" as we travel, staying away when possible, from the heavily commercialised areas. We bring in the 2016 New Year and our ninth year living on Sailaway, this years challenge is to return Sailaway to a sound sea vessel, the years and sea miles have taken their toll. There is a lot of work required, regular maintenance is no longer sufficient! My knees continue to fail, Ann contributes more and more, what a great team! As mentioned in our introduction, our "job list" is the priority, we have no set plans for this year as such? By the time Sailaway is fit to travel we will have decided where we are heading, we hope? VI - Moving East, The Balearic's, Ibiza, Formentera and Mallorca. (31st July till 5th September). VII - Moving East, Sardinia. (16th September till today).
